The wonderful variety of our native wild animals is celebrated in this
beautiful pack of playing cards, illustrated by artist John Denaro.
Each of the 54 cards shows a different animal from the tiny Pygmy Shrew to
the powerful Red deer and there are examples of amphibians, reptiles, sea
mammals, rodents, and bats. Many of the species shown are rarely
seen, either because of their scarcity, often due to historical
environmental damage, their natural timidity, or the difficulty of observing
them in their natural habitat.
