The vast diversity of the fish which inhabit our rivers, lakes and oceans
is fascinating in how the many thousands of different species have learned
to adapt to widely differing habitats and sources of food. This
pack of 54 playing cards, illustrated in full color by artist John Denaro,
shows most of the freshwater and saltwater fish often found in European
waters, from Carp to Cod, Salmon to Swordfish, and includes flatfish, rays,
eels, and sharks, as well as a few less commonly seen, like the delightful
Sea Horse, the poisonous Weever, and the strange looking John Dory.
These pictures are just a random sampling from the deck.
